Registration and Payment Info

DancEd operates on a school year calendar with regard to schedule & curriculum. Sessions are divided into two semesters for payment purposes only. Placement in a class is not guaranteed until payment is received. When you register and make payment, you are automatically enrolled in the class for the entire school year. DancEd assumes that all dancers will continue September-June unless a drop form is completed in the office.

Each class has a cost associated with it based its length. After each families 1st class (the longest of all their classes taken), there will be a flat discount of 10% on each subsequent class taken (by family, not student). So every class taken after the 1st (longest) will have the 10% discount. Payments can be made with cash, check or Visa/Mastercard. There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee per family due at the time of registration. Payments are made two times during each school year (see this sheet for exact payment due dates). Tuition paid after its due date is subject to a $20 late fee for each month it is late. Please make checks payable to DancEd. Returned checks will be assessed a $30 fee.

Please see the Registration Form for the cancellation policy. Refunds will not be issued after 8/14/10 (see below) and a Drop Form must be filled out to receive a refund or tuition credit. Classes cannot be dropped over the phone. There is a $15.00 administration fee on all refunds and tuition credits. Families enrolled in two or more classes have the option to split tuition into two installments with the first half paid at the start and the remainder in the middle of the semester. There is a $10.00 service charge per semester to split tuition. A valid credit card number & your signature are required. Your account will be automatically debited in the middle of the semester.

To Determine Your Tuition per Semester:

1) Use the chart below on the left to find the cost of the longest class that any dancer in your immediate family is taking.

2) Use the chart on the right to find the cost of every subsequent class for all dancers in your family (reflects a 10% discount).

3) The total from both charts is the tuition per semester*.
